Why do pirates have an identifiable accent? They aren’t all from the same place.

Maturity

Until recently, I just assumed that when people get married, they stop doing drugs. I think this is a vestigial naive thought from my childhood that I just never got around to clarifying with the lessons from experience. In case you’re wondering, turns out I’m wrong. Married people in fact continue to do drugs. Shit!

Isn’t that weird?

A very happy birthday

I turned 26 this morning, and I’m in a great mood. It’s indeed a very happy birthday.

Getting older isn’t bad.

The Red Lights - Bacardi Party

A basement track from maybe March (?) of 2004. The Red Lights was one of my most formative and significant musical collaborations: a sporadic, two man project that was at times incredibly prolific and at other times completely inactive. The music has a lot of humor, which I really appreciate. It stands as a testament to what two guys with little technical recording experience can do with a pile of musical instruments, a microphone, and an Apple PowerBook.

After about a year, this project graduated from college, uprooted, moved to a different city, and evolved into Richard Florida.
